These Guidelines exist to help NAHFTA Vendor Partners operate fairly, ethically, and consistently within the NAHFTA Vendor Marketplace ("Marketplace"). The goal is to protect members, maintain a professional environment, and promote trustworthy commerce between industry participants. These Guidelines may be updated or expanded from time to time as the Marketplace grows or new technology is introduced.
Vendor participation is limited to companies or individuals in good standing with NAHFTA with an active Vendor Partner Membership.
Vendors must represent legitimate businesses within the health, fitness, or related trade sectors.
Vendors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Each Vendor Partner receives a customizable storefront. Standards include:
Accuracy – All descriptions must be factual and current.
Imagery – Photos/videos must accurately represent the product or service.
Pricing – Marketplace pricing must be exclusive and meaningfully better than public pricing. NAHFTA may verify pricing.
Quantity Limits – Up to 10 active listings unless approved.
Updates – Vendors must keep listings current.
Ownership – Vendor must own all uploaded media and trademarks.
Vendors may create exclusive offers for NAHFTA members.
Discount terms must be clear and time-bound.
NAHFTA may feature promotions on the Marketplace or in email campaigns.
All active promotions must be honored through their end date.
Vendors must maintain professionalism with members and NAHFTA staff.
Unsolicited outreach outside Marketplace activity is discouraged.
Communications must be courteous and solution-focused.
NAHFTA may limit access if standards are not met.
Active Vendor Partners may use the NAHFTA name/logo truthfully and professionally.
Permission applies only while membership is active and in compliance.
Written approval required for extended/logo use (packaging, co-branding, advertising).
All use of NAHFTA marks must stop immediately if membership ends or is suspended.
NAHFTA may revoke logo privileges if misused.
NAHFTA may edit or remove content that is inaccurate, offensive, IP-violating, or risky.
Vendors are typically notified and allowed to correct issues when possible.
Vendors must follow venue rules and professional standards.
Accurate representation of products is required.
Aggressive sales behavior is prohibited.
Future participation may be limited for violations.
NAHFTA may suspend/terminate access for non-compliance, misrepresentation, or unethical conduct.
No refunds are provided for terminated vendors.
Suspended vendors may request review within 15 days.
NAHFTA encourages direct, informal resolution.
NAHFTA may make final decisions in the interest of the Marketplace.
Guidelines may be updated as the Marketplace evolves.
Vendors will be notified of major changes at least 30 days in advance.
Continued participation means acceptance.
All Vendor Partners agree to review and abide by these Guidelines as a condition of participation in the NAHFTA Vendor Marketplace.
